Conscious Recipe: Lemon, Rosemary & Turmeric Chicken

This recipe doesn’t just nourish the body—it also connects you with the energy of its ingredients.

Lemon cleanses and renews.
Rosemary protects and strengthens.
Turmeric activates vitality and supports the immune system.


Ingredients

  • 4–6 pieces of chicken (preferably organic or high quality)
  • 2 fresh lemons
  • 3–4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • (Optional) 2 cloves garlic, minced

Step-by-Step Preparation

1. Prepare the marinade

In a bowl, mix lemon juice, olive oil, turmeric, salt, pepper, and garlic (if using).

2. Set your intention

Before mixing with the chicken, pause briefly. Breathe.

You may hold this intention:
“May this food nourish health, peace, and harmony in my home.”


3. Marinate the chicken

Place the chicken in a baking dish (ideally glass or ceramic).
Pour the mixture over it, making sure every piece is well coated.
Add the rosemary sprigs on top.

Let it rest for at least 30 minutes (ideal: 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator).


4. Bake

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until the chicken is golden and fully cooked.


5. Serve

Serve warm, spooning the cooking juices over the top.
You can pair it with rice, potatoes, or vegetables.
